At OPENair we have been working continuously with the Department of Human Services and The Department of Public Health and Environment to provide the best possible care to our students and families. At this time, and with heavy hearts, we have decided the best way to continue to support the health of our community is to suspend normal business operations at our OPENair schools at the end of the week. We are tentatively planning to resume normal childcare operations on Monday, May 4th.
Starting Monday, March 30th we will be consolidating operations of our schools and working with the State to provide emergency childcare for essential workers at our Stanley location. The State of Colorado has asked early childhood providers to establish a system of emergency childcare for our most essential workers to make sure families that need childcare to respond to the crisis can access it.
To all our wonderful families this is not good bye but until we meet again. We cannot thank you enough for all your support over the last several years. Stay safe and healthy and we will see you all soon!
To the essential workers in our communities who need a safe place where your child can be loved and cared for while you help fight this crisis we are here for you. We are committed to working together to keep Colorado healthy and are happy to help do our part!
